Helly’s knack for arranging and displaying belongings in unusual or small living spaces has made my apartment, specifically my kitchen, more livable and likeable. I don’t have the inclination to use my kitchen to begin with, but mine is particularly small – a closet with a stove. It felt very closed in and I had a difficult time organizing my dishware and other utensils. Helly was immediately able to provide one simple but very effective solution – she removed my cupboard doors. She then arranged my pots, pans, dishes, canned fruit and other food items in a way so that they were “displayed” rather than simply being “stored” on the open shelves. In particular, I had two mugs and a teapot that didn’t blend with the other items. Helly, of course, saw potential, and was able to group them in a flattering way that didn’t require sacrificing shelving for other items. This particular arrangement has been commented on by others. Thanks to Helly’s refreshing views on interior design, I now consider my canned pears and cheese grater works of art!
